THE NEWEST ADDITIONS TO OUR TEAM

LINDA BRIER JOINS THE MEDICAL STAFF

VRS of Vermont is pleased to announce that Linda Brier, RN, MSN has joined our staff as a Field Nurse Case Manager.  Linda resides in the Burlington area and will cover Chittenden County as well as central and northern Vermont.  Linda has over 40 years experience in the medical field, including 30 plus years as a manager and supervisor at FAHC and NMC where she supervised as many as 60 staff at one time and was responsible for multi-million dollar budgets.  In addition, Linda served for 20 years in the Vermont Army National Guard including nine years as State Chief Nurse and three years as a Deputy Commander.  She was assigned to Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington DC during Operation Desert Storm and retired with a rank of full Lieutenant Colonel.  For the past seven years Linda has worked as a Nurse Case Manager specializing in Stay-at-Work and Return-to-Work.  She has authored and co-authored numerous articles and videos and is the recipient of multiple military medals and awards as well as private commendations and recognition.  Consistent with the philosophy at VRS, Linda takes great pride in meeting and exceeding the high expectations of those who utilize her expertise. 
 

TIA GANGULY JOINS VR STAFF
 
Tia Ganguly, MS has joined our VR staff, giving VRS six Vocational Counselors as of this writing.  Tia has been in the vocational rehabilitation and career development field for 15 years including stints with the State of Vermont, the University of Vermont, VSAC and in the private workers’ compensation arena as a counselor and vocational evaluator.  She owns and manages her own career development practice and currently teaches undergraduate and graduate courses at both UVM and CCV.  She completed her undergraduate work at Mount Holyoke College and has an MS in Mental Health Counseling from UVM.  Tia resides in Chittenden County with her husband and two children.  She can be reached at 802.735.2447.

VRS OF VERMONT’S 5TH ANNUAL TEE OFF FORE TA-KUM-TA
 
Our 5th Annual Tee Off fore Ta-Kum-Ta is scheduled for Thursday September 5th at the newly renovated Williston Golf Club.  We have a 10:00 shotgun start with a scramble format.  All participants will receive a cap and other giveaways; plus lunch, prizes, a silent auction and a car for a hole-in-one.  Most importantly, ALL proceeds go to Camp Ta-Kum-Ta for kids with cancer.  We still have a few spots open and we’d love to see you there.  We expect to pass the $50,000 mark this year and we can’t thank our players and sponsors enough.  For more information visit our website at www.VRSofVT.com and click on the tournament link, or give Fred a call at 802.858-9247!
