Shop Small Saturday

Small Business Saturday is an American shopping holiday held on the Saturday after U.S. Thanksgiving during one of the busiest shopping periods of the year. First observed on November 27, 2010, it is a counterpart to Black Friday and Cyber Monday, which feature big box retail and e-commerce stores respectively. By contrast, Small Business Saturday encourages holiday shoppers to patronize brick and mortar businesses that are small and local. This year the Clearwater Chamber of Commerce decided to surprise shoppers on this day and express our thanks for them shopping small. We passed out brand new $2 bills to everyone we saw shopping local. Thank you to everyone who came out. You can view all the pictures from that day by clicking here.

Santa's Secret Shop

PTO will have a Santa’s Secret Shop this year. It will be in the afternoon/evening of Thursday and Friday, December 11th and 12th, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and during the day on Saturday, December 13th, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM in the Elementary East Building. The shop will feature inexpensive gifts sold at PTO’s cost for children and adults. The price range of gifts is $.10 to about $10.00, with most being between $1.00 and $5.00. We will need volunteers to help work. If you are interested in signing up, please click here and choose a time and date to volunteer, or contact Andrea at or 584-2640. Thank you!
