Chamber Monthly Coffee Social

It is that time of the month again. Time for the Clearwater Chamber of Commerce's monthly coffee social. This month we will all be meeting at the Village, at 440 N 4th, on Thursday, February 13th, at 9:30 am. Come out and listen or join in the conversation about what is happening with the Chamber. 

Annual Chamber Chili Feed

The community is invited to the Clearwater Chamber of Commerce's Annual Chili Feed. It will take place on Friday, February 7th, during the game at the Clearwater High School Concession Stand. The funds raised will go towards a scholarship to a deserving Clearwater High School Senior. Please come out and join us.

Ladies Monthly Lunch

A reminder that the First Baptist Church's monthly Ladies Luncheon takes place on the first Friday of every month. The next one will be Friday, February 7th, from 11am - 2pm. This event is open to ALL ladies in the community, not just church members. If you have any questions, please contact Trish at 620-584-2058.

Spaghetti Benefit Dinner

Karter Jay Gardenhire was born on August 16, 2011 with spina bifida. Karter has already overcome obstacles, and we know he will face many more as the years come. The Spaghetti Benefit Dinner will be Saturday, February 22nd, at 5:30 pm at the St. Joseph Hall in Conway Springs. All proceeds will go towards a Rabbit Walker for Karter. Karter is a courageous and spunky little boy! Please come out to meet him on February 22nd. We will be taking donations to help with food. DSLR Camera Class

Did Santa surprise you with a new camera for Christmas and you need tips on how to use it?
This upcoming class will provide basic instruction on DSLR cameras.

Valentine Dinner for Two

New Business Ribbon Cutting

The Clearwater Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce a new business in the Clearwater areaBleach & Bronze Hair & Tanning Salon is located at 505 E Ross next door to Subway. The Chamber is having a ribbon cutting at the business on Friday, February 7th, at noon. Everyone is invited to come out and welcome this new business to town.

Gun Auction & Raffle Benefit

Would you like to help a fellow Clearwater resident pay some medical bills? Mark Klausmeyer is a lifelong Clearwater resident. Mark has terminal cancer and needs help paying hospital bills. His friends and family are having a gun auction and raffle benefit on Saturday, March 1st. This will take place at the Gene Francis Auction House at K42 and 119th. All You Can Eat Biscuits & Gravy

The entire community is invited to the Clearwater Senior Community Centers monthly All You Can Eat Biscuits & Gravy. It will be held on Saturday, February 15th, from 7:00 am to 10:00 am. Cost is $4 for adults and $2 for children. Come out and enjoy some good food with friends and help support the Community Center as well.

AARP Tax Preperation

Its that time of year again. Tax time. Once again the Clearwater Senior Community Center will be offering free tax preparations for Seniors in the area. This will be on Monday, March 3rd. Please call the Center at 620-584-2332 to reserve your spot today.

57th Annual Sausage Supper

The annual Viola Lions Club Sausage Supper will be Saturday, February 1st. For a small fee you can have all you can eat homemade sausage, mashed potatoes & gravy, coleslaw, applesauce, green beans and dessert. This event will take place in the Viola Community Hall. 

PowerUp Chili Cook-off

Congratulations to Suzanne Johnson of Clearwater. She was the first place winner at the first ever PowerUp Chili Cook-off. She cooked a delicious white creamy chili and won the first place prize of $75.
