Starting in November!
With all its moving, twisting, and turning, square dancing provides more than the daily dose of heart and bone healthy physical activity. Remembering all the calls from "do-si-do" to 'alemand' keeps the mind sharp, potentially starving off age-related memory loss, experts say. The companionship that regular square dancing offers is an antidote to depression and loneliness, a statement confirmed by square-dancing advocates everywhere. John Chitwood will again be leading an introductory class that will teach the basics of square dancing. The class will open for people to come try for the first 4 weeks. It will then be closed to any new comers in order to be fair to the rest of the dancers.
Date: Every Friday starting in November
Time: 7:00 pm
Location: Clearwater Community Center
921 Janet Ave
Cost: donations for coffee
If you don't want to participate but would like to watch you are welcome!

2015 Chamber Board Nominations
The Clearwater Chamber of Commerce Board is made up of a group of 9 volunteers throughout the community. These 9 volunteers consist of a President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Communications, and the rest are very key board members. These board members will meet on the first Thursday of every month at noon at the Clearwater City Hall for their meeting. Each year election is held for people who are leaving the board that year. Each person is asked to serve for 2 years. This year we have 4 spots coming available. That is 4 volunteers that we need from the community. If you might be interested or know someone who is, please click here. The voting will take place on the Annual Lunch in December.
