Chamber Survey

The Clearwater Chamber of Commerce mission is: Improving quality of life through business growth and prosperity. Clearwater is a growing and thriving community because of the businesses and individuals that work together to make Clearwater a better place to live, work and play.
However we believe we need to keep up with what members and non members are wanting to see. So we have created a simple survey that we would like everyone to take.

Message from the City

135th / 4th Street Closure Update

The City of Clearwater was informed that the scope of work for the project north of the railroad tracks has changed and that the section of road between 95th St and the tracks will be removed completely and that stabilization products will be incorporated into the base before the new pavement is laid. Because of this change, the section of 135th will be closed completely until early July.

Motorist will have to detour west on 95th to Tracy for paved roads or east on 95th to 119th for gravel.

One lane of traffic will be maintained during the construction phase of work between the tracks and Ross.

We apologize for any inconvenience that this will cause.

2016 Kansas Sampler Festival

Clearwater was among the 30 plus cities/counties helping to kick off the 2016 Kansas Sampler Festival activities in Winfield on May 7th. A variety of flags were presented at the opening ceremony and later inserted over a t-post along the “avenue of flags” to be displayed during the two-day event.
The Clearwater Chamber also had a display booth in the Sumner County Tent during the event—yes Sumner County invited Clearwater to help fill extra space in their tent at no cost. Chamber representatives that volunteered at the event reported the event as a very unique and worthwhile effort. The purpose of the festival is to familiarize guests about things to see and do in Kansas. Over 8200 guests attended the 2016 Sampler Festival which was cut short by heavy downpours early Sunday Afternoon The event will return to Winfield again on the first week-end of May, 2017.
