New Hazard Communication Standard

What you need to know and are required to communicate to you employees right now.
If your company has any chemicals onsite and you keep Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDSs) on file for those chemicals, OSHA's new hazard communication regulation applies to you. The new standard makes a number of changes and requires companies to have trained all of their employees on those changes on or before December 1, 2013.
In this presentation, you will learn more about the changes you need to be aware of, features of the MSDS's replacement: the Safety Data Sheet (SDS), the reasoning behind the changes, and more about the timeline for implementing the changes. If you company hasn't conducted training yet, learn what your company needs to communicate to your employees in order to comply with the regulation. The class will be taught by Leroy Burton, iSi Environmental.
The class will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd from 8:00 am to 9:30 am. It will be conducted at the Wichita Chamber, 350 W. Douglas. Cost is $15.00 for Clearwater Chamber Members, $20.00 for non-members.
