We are excited to announce that the theme for the 2013-2014 yearbook is "Words Of An Indian." If you did not order a 2013-2014 Clearwater High School yearbook during enrollment -- you're in luck!  There is still time.There are a three ways you can order a CHS High School Yearbook:

- Bring a check to the High School Office

Print and complete this order form and mail it to the High School Office with your check

- You can order the 2013-2014 book and pay with a credit or debit card at (Click on buy a yearbook and search for Clearwater High School.)

Ladies Monthly Lunch

A reminder that the First Baptist Church's monthly Ladies Luncheon takes place on the first Friday of every month. The next one will be Friday January 3rd, from 11am - 2pm. This event is open to ALL ladies in the community, not just church members. If you have any questions please contact Trish at 620-584-2058.

All you can eat Biscuits & Gravy

Would you like to save some time in the kitchen on a Saturday morning? Does your child have a basketball game or wrestling match and you need something to eat before? Then stop on by the Clearwater Senior Community Center's All you can eat Biscuits & Gravy. It will be Saturday, December 21st, from 7:00 am to 10:00 am. The cost is $4 for adults and $2 for kids.

Christmas Cantata

Join us at the First Baptist Church of Clearwater for the Christmas Cantata during the 11 am Worship Service on Sunday, December 22. Lunch will be served by the yooooooooth following the service.

Message from Police Department

Recently there has been an increase in theft, especially mail reported in Sedgwick and surrounding counties. It has been suspected the thieves have targeted those mailboxes with the red flag in the “up” position, indicating there is mail within. Citizens are asked to call 911 if a vehicle that does not display a US MAIL placard is witnessed stopping at mailboxes. Also, if mail belonging to another residence is discovered, report it to 911. Citizens are advised to pick up and drop off mail from mailboxes as close to delivery/drop-off time as possible.

PowerUp Chili/Soup Cook-off!

PowerUps are a group of individuals who choose to live "rural by choice!" Recently a PowerUp group has started in Clearwater. It has been decided that one of the main goals is to make everyone in the community feel welcome, and let them know they have a place. They will be hosting their first ever event on Saturday, January 25th, 2014 at 6:00pm. It will be a chili/soup cook off. There will be lots of prizes and plenty of food. If you are interested in entering the contest we would like to hear from you. Please email or message us on Facebook. This event is open to everyone in the community!

Variety Show

The River will be hosting their annual “River Christmas” Variety Show and everyone is invited. Preschool and nursery will be provided at each service.
Each service will be a free, but because of seating, a ticketed event. Tickets are available to pick-up before and after all weekly Sunday services.

CUMC Childrens Program

The "Kids of the Kingdom" group will have their annual Christmas program on Wednesday, December 18th, at 6 pm in the sanctuary of the Clearwater United Methodist Church. The community is invited to attend.

Wednesday Morning Coffee

The Clearwater Senior Community Center would like to invite everyone to the weekly Wednesday Morning Coffee. Stop by and have a cup of coffee and visit with friends. This event is open to all of the community. It is every Wednesday at 9:00 am until everyone decides to leave. If you have any questions, please contact the Center at 620-584-2332.

Volunteer opportunities

Do you or someone you know need some volunteer hours? Do you enjoy volunteering your time to help out your community? If so then you are needed. The Clearwater Senior Community Center is looking for some volunteers for various jobs. If you may be interested in helping out, please contact the Center at 620-584-2332.

Tribal Council Food Drive

The Middle School Tribal Council conducted a food drive from November 18th through 22nd to help the Clearwater Food Pantry. The school wide drive collected 1,576 cans, and Tribal Council donated $250 to make the total contribution 2,076 cans. The culminating event was a trip to the Open Door Food Pantry in Wichita. The service committee, and other select tribal council members, volunteered during the Thanksgiving meal distribution. Thanks to all students and families that helped make the event a success! 

Decals for sale!

The PowerUp group is raising funds by selling window decals for your cars. They are $5 a decal and they look great. Email if you would like to order some!
