The Communications Committee is made up of 5 members of the community who have come together to make communication better in our town. We have made it our mission to make sure that information is sent out to residents in a timely manner. Focus On The Future Town Hall Meeting

It that time again! Come join in this community style meeting to hear about changes happening in Clearwater. This next meeting will be Monday July 29th at 7:00pm. It will take place at the SCKESC which is located at 13939 Diagonal Road Clearwater, KS.We will have reports from the Communication Committee, Industrial/Business Park Committee, Downtown/Retail Committee, and possibly a housing update. The presentation topic will be: Love Notes for Clearwater. This event is open to all residents of all ages. We will also have childcare available for the little ones. Please email if you need childcare and we will make sure we have enough to cover. Childcare is provided by the youth at the Clearwater Methodist Church.

"Light Up The Night" Golf Tournament

Clearwater Chamber of Commerce 5th annual Glow Ball Golf Tournament will take place on Saturday September 21st, 2013. 
4:00 PM  sign-in time
4:30 PM Tee-Off
2 Person Scramble
 $60.00 per player
Includes 18 holes of Golf—
9 holes of regular golf, 9 holes of glow ball,
1/2 Cart, 1 Glow Ball, and Dinner!
Additional Glow Balls can be purchased
There will be cash prizes, games, giveaways and raffles.

Tai Chi Classes

If you're looking for a way to reduce stress, consider tai chi (TIE-CHEE). Originally developed for self-defense, tai chi has evolved into a graceful form of exercise that's now used for stress reduction and a variety of other health conditions. Often described as meditation in motion, tai chi promotes serenity through gentle, flowing movements. Tai Chi Classes are offered at the Senior Community Center for $4 a month. Classes are instructed by Lewis Kellogg. Class is open to all ages. Call 620-584-2332 for more information.

All you can eat Biscuits & Gravy

Don't feel like making everyone breakfast on a Saturday morning? Stop by the Clearwater Senior Community Center for all you can eat Biscuits & Gravy. $4 for adults and $2 for kids. It will be on Saturday July 20th from 7am - 10am.

Chamber Coffee Social

Just a reminder that due to 4th of July this months Chamber Coffee Social will be held on Thursday June 18th at 9:30 am. Stop by and hear all about what is going on in your community. It will be held at the Clearwater Village at 440 N 4th.

Downtown Marketplace

The Chamber of Commerce is going to be helping out with the Outdoor Marketplace this month. It will take place on Saturday July 20th, 2013 from 7am-12pm. This month we will be offering FREE booth space. So if you have anything you would like to sell just get in touch with Shana at Rockin Ruckus at 620-584-2777 and set up your booth at no cost. Also we will be voting on "Prettiest Posing Posies" for all of the participating businesses downtown, we will be selling cinnamon rolls, there will be home-made pies, horse rides, and we will have a drawing to win a $25 Visa gift card. Tell all your friends and make sure to stop by downtown Clearwater on the 20th!

Living with Alzheimer's workshop

Do you suffer from Alzheimer's or have a family member that does? Stop by and listen to this workshop provided by Harden Hospice regarding this disease. You will learn how to identify and cope with living with the disease. This event will be held on Thursday July 18th at 1:00 pm at the Clearwater Senior Community Center. 921 Janet Ave. If you have any questions please call 620-584-2332.

Year Round Sports Physicals

Its that time of year again. Clearwater Family Practice is offering their $30 sports physicals year round. It is $30 or you can request for it to be ran through insurance.
