It is time for the Clearwater Chamber of Commerce monthly coffee social. This month we will be meeting at the Clearwater Village on Thursday, November 13th, at 9:30 am. Join in the conversation about what is happening with the Chamber. 

Ladies Monthly Lunch

A reminder of the First Baptist Church's monthly Ladies Luncheon. The lunch takes place on the first Friday of every month. The next one will be Friday, November, 7th, from 11am - 2pm. This event is open to ALL ladies in the community, not just church members. If you have any questions please contact Trish at 620-584-2058.

C-Club Powder-Puff and Buff-Puff Fundraiser 

C-Club sponsors Powder-Puff Flag Football, and Buff-Puff volleyball each year as a fundraiser for scholarships. The girls play football, while the boys play volleyball. The events will take place on Monday, November 10th, 2014.

  • 4:00 pm Freshman boys play Junior boys.
  • 5:00 pm Sophomore boys play Senior boys.
Women's Flag Football at Football Stadium
  • 7:00 pm Freshman girls play Junior girls.
  • 8:00 pm Sophomore girls play Senior girls.
Admission is $3 to attend all volleyball and football games. No passes allowed.

Each year the Clearwater Chamber invites local businesses to decorate a Hay Bale which is placed on display in downtown Clearwater. Each year we ask the public to vote on their favorite Hay Bale. Veterans Day Invitation

Clearwater High School would like to extend an invitation to all Veterans of the United States Armed Forces, living in our school district, to attend our Veterans Day program on Tuesday, November 11, 2014. Please consider being our guest at a luncheon provided in your honor at the high school starting at noon. Spouses are welcome to attend with you. Following the lunch we invite you to stay for our program in the auditorium beginning at 1:30 pm. Each branch of the Armed Forces and its members attending will be recognized. There will also be several pieces of military equipment on display, along with equipment from our local fire, police, and EMS. The display will be in the north parking lot and will be open all day. You are also invited to take a look at our Wall of Honor in the social studies wing of the high school.

Library receives Award

The Clearwater Public Library would like to thank the Kansas Book Festival and all the Clearwater Public Library children and their parents who read for the Read Kansas Read Summer Reading Program. The library received a $500 grant from the Kansas Book Festival.  Each child’s reading log was an entry for the library. Way to go!

Memory loss that disrupts daily life may be a symptom of Alzheimer's or another dementia. Alzheimer's is a brain disease that causes a slow decline in memory, thinking, and reasoning skills. There are 10 warning signs and symptoms. Every individual may experience one or more of these signs in different degrees.
