Brisbane Trivia Night a Big Hit!

Teachers Networking Forum - UQ
Chemistry, Physics, Maths, ICT and Science Teachers are invited to attend the Engineering & Technology Teachers Networking Forum on Monday 28 October (5:00pm – 7:30pm). This event is the first in a series of professional development activities which will count towards your CPD. The series will be focused around the addressing the knowledge gap, the first year experience and career pathways of the engineering/technology lifecycle and will be run by Associate Professor Lydia Kavanagh, Director of First Year Engineering at UQ. The Annual O’Donnell School Lecture Tour
Bookings are now being accepted from schools for our guest lecturer Dr Sarah Creswell to present to their students and the topic this year is CSI:Chemistry.
Inquiry Report Date Extended
On 6 August 2013 the Legislative Assembly extended the reporting date for the Inquiry into assessment methods use in senior Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics in Queensland schools. The committee is now required to report to the Legislative Assembly by 14 October, 2013
