Flower Arrangements

Flower arrangements have returned to our worship services. The cost to sponsor Altar Flowers remains $40 per arrangement.

To order an arrangement, email Ryan at by Monday
(please feel free to order in advance if you wish).
Then, the requested flowers can be included in Sunday services. Remember, please include your name with the request as well as any dedication message you wish to make in sponsoring these flowers.
There is a two-per-week limit on floral arrangements.

Please, send payment to the church office at 2200 Robindale Road, Henderson, NV 89074 or give online and designate "Flowers - Altar". The Worship Committee is thankful that there is a way to include flowers for our weekly service. Questions or suggestions regarding the committee's effort to include flowers in services should be sent to Flower Coordinator Greg Graessley,

Online Memorial Page

Losing a member of our church family is always difficult, but during the current pandemic and time of separation it has become harder to share our grief, share stories and celebrate life as a church community.
We have created an online memorial board and we invite everyone to please share your memories, stories and/or photos of church members who have passed.

Click HERE to go to the online memorial board

We hope this online memorial board will help bring us together as a community and not only share our grief, but help celebrate the life of the members who have been a vital part of the GVUMC community.

Visitation Ministry

Although we cannot visit in person, please let the church office know if you or a family member are in the hospital so we on the visitation team can uplift you in prayer as well as visit by phone.
We on the visitation team also reach out to those who feel isolated at home, in assisted living, or in nursing homes.

Call the church office or Lynn Dunn at 702-435-1662 so we are aware of who would like to be visited by phone calls until we can meet in person.

Email Fraud!

Once again, many people have received emails or text messages from someone claiming to be Pastor Mary, asking individuals to purchase gift cards or asking for other help.
If you receive a suspicious looking email please check the email address from where it was sent to help check it it is genuinely from Pastor Mary.
Pastor Mary will only ever use the following two addresses: or and her phone number has a 702 area code.
Please know this is not a compromise of security on any of GVUMC databases/Online Giving Services etc.
Thank you all for your patience, understanding and support!

Wesley's Simple Rules for Money

This Week's Scripture Verses

1Timothy 6:17-19
As for those who in the present age are rich, command them not to be haughty, or to set their hopes on the uncertainty of riches, but rather on God who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment. They are to do good, to be rich in good works, generous, and ready to share, thus storing up for themselves the treasure of a good foundation for the future, so that they may take hold of the life that really is life.
