We are hoping to start a seed library here at the Whipple Free Library!
The is a special donation box just inside the lobby doors, so they don't get mixed into the books! Please don't forget to label and date anything you donate. Donations can be dropped off at the library lobby during business hours.
The idea is that you can "borrow" seeds by taking from the library and then return seeds harvested from what you grow. To get started we will need some donations of harvested seeds and even some plain seed packets if anyone would like to donate them.
We will just be collecting donations at the moment and once we have enough to organize we will set up our little system! Thanks in advance!
Early 2020 Releases You May Have Missed!
We have lots of new books this year that you may not have heard about because of our shutdown or change to curbside!
To help with this, we've created a brand new display of books from Early 2020 that you may have missed. Schedule an appointment and come take a look! Prefer curbside? No problem! Just call or email and ask for a bundle of some Early 2020 Releases and we'll set them outside for you!
Are you an adult looking for some new books and movies?

Lots of museums have opened for appointments and limited capacity, and most of them are still allowing discount passes from our library to be used!
However, please keep in mind that every museum has different rules and procedures and advance planning is highly recommended!
So far most patrons have been successful in reserving times to visit museums and use our passes, however we have run into roadblocks a few times as well that require us to contact the museum which causes extreme delays in the process.
Please contact us or the museum well in advance before booking a trip so we can try to get you that discount!
