Celebrating with Song
Today, October 19th marks Housing Navigator Massachusetts' second birthday!

In the past two years—and even more so the two months since our August launchwe have multitudes to celebrate and be grateful for.

So we asked ourselves … How can we celebrate when we have to be remote? How can we thank everyone? How can we be joyous when so much is happening that is not joyful?

Our answer: Give yourself two minutes and click on this video with a special song for this moment.

If we could invite you to an in-person birthday bash, there surely would be music. And we couldn't imagine anything better than asking our friends at ZUMIX (celebrating their 30th birthday!) to lend their joy and perform an oldie that is all about dreaming of being homeward bound.

Enjoy. Celebrate home with us. Didn't click yet? Here it is again. It may be the sweetest thing you see all week!

Your site is a gem! With affordable housing it often feels like there is a back door that everyone but you knows about. Well, no more!Steve

I think this will be incredibly helpful to the team and clients we serve. Keitha

Meet Our Growing Team
Since joining the Navigator in June, Fehintola Abioye has provided integral support to the Navigator’s Owner Verification Drive, research projects, and data efforts as Research and Project Assistant. Her desire to create equitable housing, health, and educational opportunities in low-income communities across Massachusetts brought her to past roles at Mel King Institute, the Dudley Street Neighborhood Initiative, and Action for Boston Community Development and informs her work at the Navigator. As a movement, the Housing Navigator is actively improving affordable housing access. I am honored to be a part of something that challenges the status quo and will have real impacts on how renters decide where to live now and for years to come.

The newest addition to the Housing Navigator team, Bobby Wang brings substantial experience in engineering, urban planning, and product design to his role as Product Manager. Bobby is passionate about combining his wide-ranging interests in design, civic technology, and urbanism with a focus on advancing social equity and looks forward to the opportunity to engage with the Navigator’s users and explore new features and site improvements. So many essential tasks, from accessing healthcare to managing finances are already available online, at our fingertips. I believe finding an affordable place to live should be no different, which is why I'm excited to join Housing Navigator and be part of a passionate group of individuals working to make housing in Massachusetts more accessible and equitable.
Support our Mission
Thanks to the generous support of our partners, donors, and friends, the Housing Navigator has less than $50,000 left to raise on a $2.5 million dollar capital campaign. If you or your business would like to talk to us about a gift, please reach out or donate here. Your support will allow us to continue making incredible progress in bridging the digital divide and helping renters find a place to call home.
