Special Announcement
May 2017

NRCDV is excited to announce the launch of Stories of Transformation, a NRCDV Radio podcast station dedicated lifting up and honoring the voices of survivors and advocates

The new podcast station will feature interviews with advocates and collaborative partners from the field, real life stories from survivors, and innovative practices in advocacy.

"Storytelling is a such powerful tool for inspiring and informing our movement work – we are grateful for this avenue to tell and share our stories," said Casey Keene of NRCDV.

Stories of Transformation premieres with a three-part series entitled "Inspirational Women." Episode one features an interview with Carrie Bettinger-Lopez, former White House Advisor on Violence Against Women under Vice President Joe Biden. She shares her journey through a life of activism around women’s and anti-violence issues with host Ivonne Ortiz.

The guest for Episode 2, available May 18, is Rosie Hidalgo, director of public policy for the National Latin@ Network for Healthy Families and Communities. Episode 3 will be available on May 25 and will feature guest Lynn Rosenthal, the first White House Advisor on Violence Against Women and former director of the National Network to End Domestic Violence.

Stories of Transformation is available to listen through your desktop or download. Access to the station is available through the NRCDV website media page and the NRCDV YouTube channel.
