Caves of Han & Durbuy trip
Sunday 3 April 2016

Thank you for joining us on Sunday to Han-sur-Less and Durbuy. The weather forecast says 20 degrees, no rain, so almost too perfect! We are going to have a lovely day with a great program. Note that our bus is completely full (50 persons). If you still have a friend who wants to join, click here. Please read the rest of this email carefully. Most important is to come **on time** for departures in the morning and evening.

I am looking forward to seeing you on Sunday for a great day! For questions, don't hesitate to contact me. In case you are interested in the Champagne trip on Saturday 9 April, note that the early bird offer finishes tomorrow and that the remaining spots are limited.

Our programme for the day
Our schedule is carefully planned and we should have enough time to enjoy all destinations. Please note that times may change during the day if required by circumstances (e.g. traffic jams). Consult our website for detailed descriptions and maps of the available pick-up points:
  • 11h45 - Meeting time Place Schuman (latest departure 12h00)
  • 11h50 - Meeting time La Chasse (latest departure 12h05)
  • 11h55 - Meeting time Metro Delta (final departure 12h10)
  • 12h00 - Meeting time Hermann-Debroux (latest departure 12h15)
  • 13h45 - Arrival Han-sur-Lesse
  • 14h00 - Start guided cave tour
  • 16h00 - Departure to Durbuy (possibly 15 minutes later)
  • 19h00 - Departure from Durbuy to Brussels - at busparking
  • 20h30 - Arrival Brussels
Small but important print: We unfortunately left people behind on previous trips, because we needed to stick to our schedule and adhere to strict E.U. regulations for drivers. Also, we don't want others to wait just for you. So please respect the meeting times. If you fear you are going to be late, call immediately with 0495-345144 or send a text message. Don't delay, because we may leave before the official departure time if we haven't heard from you 5 minutes after the meeting time! Tip: figure out already on Saturday where you should be and just take one bus or metro earlier than you would normally do. Time flies when you wait together and it's much better than being late...

We travel with a 4* luxury coach from Lauwers with a professional driver.
* Please keep the on-board toilet clean.
* Don't bring smelly/fatty food and drinks (fries, pizza, milkshakes, etc).
* Be considerate to others (e.g. no loud talking, no strong perfumes etc).
* If you suffer from car-sickness, request a front-row seat.
* Please ask your host (Edgar) for coach-related questions, not the driver.
* It is customary to tip the driver at the end of the day (coins only please)

Cave visit: It will be rather chilly in the cave with a very high humidity. It is therefore important to dress warm. You can wear normal shoes or sneakers. For the ladies, high heels are not a good idea as there are 504 steps (up and down, in total) with uneven floors...
