Inspirational Activities...

Since creating Elderflower Fields our ambition has always been to offer a wealth of great activities for children and families to take part in, working with organisations who love what they're doing and can inspire people beyond the festival weekend. Looking at the breadth of activities available in 2015 we hope you agree we are on the right track...

Stuart, Nigel, Dax & Maria

We're thrilled to welcome Premier Sport to run this year's Sport Camp which will give kids the chance to try such diverse sports as dodgeball, lacrosse & tri-golf. Then we have SKiL providing drop in sessions including stickball and adventure runs. As if that wasn't enough, in this rugby world cup year we have coaches from Lewes Rugby Club running beach rugby sessions. Then there's the Urban Woods where we welcome back climbing, parkour and slacklining amongst others. Plus, did we mention orienteering, kayaking, raft building, high ropes...

Elderflower Fields takes place in a landscape of stunning beauty, much of which is protected by Natural England and looked after by the Ashdown Forest Conservators. Our Environmental Woods offer you the chance to learn more about this special place and includes pond dipping, woodland games and camp fire sessions, nature trails, bugs and beastie hunts, and many more!

Our Arts Camp and storytelling areas were very popular in 2014 and no doubt will be again this year, so we have increased the number of sessions available and created an even greater range of storytellers and performers for you to enjoy. We also welcome East Sussex Music Service for the first time to run our Youth Music area, a highlight of which will be the chance for kids to take part in a BBC Ten Pieces performance. There's also the cinema showing four great family movies including Boxtrolls and Paddington...

But why wait until May to do cool stuff together as a family or to get your kids involved in some exciting new activities? Check out the links below for interesting things going on over the February half term from some of our friends in Sussex.
