BUILDING PROGRESS

Lakeland Baptist Church in Gilbert is in the midst of a building campaign! Here's a July 19 note from Pastor Caleb Lobb.

We currently have five builders from Continental Baptist Mission (CBM) at our church. We have a new septic system, renovation of the existing building has begun, the slab for the addition is poured, and the walls are up! Lord willing the trusses will go up this week. We are excited to finally see this project begin, and are enjoying working alongside the CBM builders. The plan is for the builders to stay and get as much done on the building by November, and then they will head somewhere warmer for the winter (Who does't like living in a camper in northern MN in the winter??). Hopefully by that point the building will be complete enough for us to use, and our church people would then do the finishing work. 
 
We would love to have some volunteers from the state come help out and get involved in the building.
