It appears that Chechen authorities rounded up at least 100 gay people - and killed at least 3 in the process - according to multiple reports; Russia claims to be investigating.

After teens brutally attacked a gay married couple holding hands in the Netherlands, Dutch men nation-wide are holding hands and marching in solidarity with LGBTIQ people.

Russia banned a picture of Putin with lipstick, that calls for opposition to homophobia, and deemed it "extremism." 


After opposing federal appellate court rulings, the US Supreme Court may examine whether the 1964 Civil Rights Act covers LGBT discrimination. Tuesday the 7th Circuit ruled that a school in Indiana unfairly fired a lesbian.

Norwegian Air announced cheap flights from major cities in Europe to Buenos Aires - starting with a $400 flight by the end of the year from London.

If you're going to Songkran this year in Thailand - expect a much more tame experience, due to the King's mourning period - including an end to parties at midnight in Bangkok (an no big water guns!)
