Will you be in DC on Monday? Come see US LGBTI Envoy Randy Berry and other senior international LGBTIQ leaders at an Atlantic Council Event. I'm planning to be there - I haven't seen Envoy Berry since (above) in Riga with Steve Grand.
CSW60
Next week is the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) with plenty of side events organized by OutRight. Come learn about how to ensure LBT women are included at UN agencies and rights are protected globally!
Winter Party 2016
If you're not setting sail on Atlantis from San Juan (or at NYC's LGBT Expo) plan your next weekend in NYC at the Black Party, pre-ceded by New York's Gay Men's Chorus' Big Gay Sing 8 - the British Invasion (all weekend long).

In Taiwan, McDonalds is making (controversial) headlines for an ad where a son comes out to his father on a McCafe cup. It's being condemned by religious groups.

Indonesia hate continues with talk in the House of Representatives of an anti-gay propaganda law (similar to Russia's) that would prevent websites & media from discussing LGBTIQ issues and LGBT groups are setting up safe-houses and hotlines in response to the continuous anti-gay measures.

Thank Missouri Democrats for attempting to filibuster a proposed Constitutional State "Religious Freedom" Amendment, that would enable religious organizations a "license to discriminate" against LGBT Missourians, but it appears it will go to the ballot in Nov.

If you're spreading anti-LGBT hate this bill sponsored by Senator Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) will prevent you from visiting the US (if you're not a US citizen).

  Travel

Headed to Iceland soon? You must read Globetrotter Girls' tips for driving around the island and more incredible pictures.

Be careful if you planned to cruise the gay park in KL, a Malaysian newspaper has publicly identified the hook-up spot, sending reporters to investigate "immoral activities."

Enjoy España? Check out the hipster-hood of Ruzafa in Valencia from my favorite gay travel blogger Travels of Adam.

Feel like looking in from the other side? The Nomadic Boys have compiled blogs written by str8 people about their LGBTIQ travel experiences -- lots of important gay ground covered here from Istanbul to a gay sauna in Korea and European gay parties to Montreal pride.
