Ireland Marriage Referendum May 22
Exciting news for Ireland - where they have announced the marriage equality referendum will be May 22 - one day before the (uber gay) Eurovision finale - popular Irish bar-owner & drag personality Panti Bliss remarked it make May 23 the gayest day ever (at least if you're Irish!). New US LGBT Envoy
The US State Department named its very first LGBT envoy! Randy Berry, a senior US diplomat grew up on a cattle ranch in Colorado and worked at America West Airlines in Phoenix before joining the Foreign Service in 1993. He will be sworn in in a ceremony on Friday.
