Looking to "buy equal" when you purchase your holi-gay gifts this year? Use a number of indexes to see how companies treat their own LGBT employees and support equality in their communities & abroad.

Human Rights Day 2014
Yesterday served as the annual worldwide Human Rights Day, although there is very little to celebrate. This year's theme focused on recognizing the dignity of all human beings 365 days of the year. Show your support for #GlobalEquality by giving to the International LGBT Human Rights Commission.
Liaison - Gay Nightlife in Las Vegas
See it? "Gay" has arrived on the Strip. Thank Drai’s for this beautiful new venue. Supposedly not-so-gay Las Vegas even has a phone app! Next month they will host "Sin City Shootout" - LGBT competition within 18 different sports!

World News.

Don't go naked in Egypt! Authorities arrested 33 gays fully nude in a sauna in Cairo and worked in coordination with government media to "expose perversion" on TV!

Sadly, ISIS continues to target the LGBT community in Iraq and Syria - the group allegedly threw a man "accused" of homosexuality off of a roof and stoned him to death.

No more Sochi's! The Olympic Committee voted to include sexual orientation in a non-discrimination policy in a unanimous vote, but did not include gender identity.

Would you show "porn" to your children? The latest Russian media "documentary" explains how westerners pervert their children, a different perspective on sex ed from the anti-western state-run media machine. However, a Russian activist finally won an award from the courts - a whopping $55 from authorities for canceling pride celebrations in his local city.

The struggle continues for LGBT rights in Korea where protesters occupied Seoul city hall for a 5th day after the mayor held up a non-discrimination policy.

Making things warmer in Minnesota, transgender high school students will now be allowed to participate in sports according to their gender identity.

Travel.

Looking for a new gay-borhood to explore? OutTraveler has listed Dallas' Oak Town as the number 1 best gay hood in America!

A face-mask might prove useful! US Air now has two incidents of noxious fumes making passengers sick! A fight from Tel Aviv to Philly made an emergency landing in Rome.

Consider a scuba-dive between continents! This blog explores a trip to Iceland's best-kept secret: Silfra - where you can swim between the continental plates of North America and Eurasia.

It's cold - so you might as well enjoy the snow. Find out about the top gay ski weekends from OutTraveler or get focused with what I know will by my favorite, outside Barcelona!

West Hollywood reaches that scary post-youth age - 30! Plus a good to-do list for gay men before they reach gay-adulthood (I think more like 25 is better!).

Looking to get gay-married in a Zen Buddhist Temple? The 500 year old Shunkoin Temple in Kyoto has joined a few others and partnered with Out Asia Tours to offer same-sex weddings. Japan still does not have legal marriage equality.
