OutRight UN Gala
Looking for a way to give back and get involved? Whether you can attend, sponsor, be a host or volunteer, this year's Celebration of Courage at the United Nations will honor activists and raise funds to support global efforts opposing the damage Trump has done to Human Rights.
Resist!
Despite again picking on immigrants - as if somehow most are criminals - Trump somehow managed to make people think he was President-like with the State of the Union. Meanwhile finishing touches landed on a revised immigration EO - so he can bask in some positive coverage for (at least a day).

Chinese LGBTIQ groups demanded an apology from an only video platform for calling homosexuality the "wrong kind of love" and banning any same-sex relationships.

The US appears to have no foreign policy at the moment - no press briefings and an inability to simply condemn murder - the State Department only issued a statement of "support" for the investigations of 3 trans people in El Salvador.

Saudi Arabia police stuffed two women into sacks and beat them to death amid arrests of 35 people for cross-dressing. Would this happen if Obama were still in the White House (and the US had a foreign policy)?

Texas leaders are making an attempt to prevent same-sex couples from receiving spousal benefits for municipal employees, by forcing the Texas Supreme Court to decide (what should be clear!) if the US Supreme Court equal marriage ruling applies to this case.

See the me in New Orleans' Reverse Pride. Check out this powerful video about how we will never go back! (I'm standing on the balcony at 0:47).

Feeling like seeing some Drag in East London? Read Travels of Adam's experience with the ultimate "Lip-sync-for-your-life" battle.

Wondering who has the most powerful passport? Swedish citizens have the most access in the world - that US passport is rated 35th.

NYC. This week hang with Dustin Lance Black and the stars and creators of When We Rise as they watch the show each evening at GLAAD offices. Email me for more information.

Are you or do you know a trans or gender-queer person? A study is being launched online through survey to learn about the effects of marriage equality, the election, and policies on queer women and trans* individuals and their relationships.

Upcoming! NYC. Get your Discounted Early-Bird tickets before March 15 to attend OutRight's Annual Celebration of Courage at the United Nations where we will honor and support activists, individuals, and organizations that support global LGBTIQ human rights.
